Ultra-rare and unique circa 1920 sterling silver wedding spoon by Ossian Forslunds, a silver maker out of the sub-Arctic coastal region of Boden in northern Sweden, active only from 1920 to 1924. Superb engraved panels to both handle and bowl – the former with a depiction of a man in native Sami winter garb below an engraved crown, the latter with a depiction of a reindeer in a mountainous landscape. 16 small ridged rings off the handle. Back shows the couple’s names, Minne and Carl, engraved at top, and the maker’s hallmarks. Measures 8” in length. Just an incredible sterling spoon, certifiably rare. In excellent condition with light patina, no dings or scratches.
