This auction is for service CLA (clean, lubrication, and adjustment) of one Leica M2, M3, or M4 rangefinder camera.

This service is performed by Youxin Ye, Leica technician, YYeCamera.

The CLA includes:

Removal of old lubricants;

Cleaning of internal parts;

Application of new lubricants;

Shutter speeds are adjusted and electronically tested  for accuracy and consistency;

Shutter brake is adjusted if necessary;

Cleaning and brightening of rangefinder/viewfinder;

Adjustment of rangefinder for vertical and horizontal accuracy.

A CLA is important for the health and longevity of your Leica camera.

Old dried lubricants interfere with proper shutter performance.

An improperly lubricated dry camera causes unnecessary wear on the internal parts.

Classic Leicas that have been in storage or unused for many years require servicing to ensure proper function.

Price of CLA does not cover any additional parts or necessary repairs.

6 month limited warranty.

These services are not included in the CLA:

I can remove cracked Vulcanite and recover with modern materials.

I can change worn and damaged shutter curtains.

I can fix M2, M3, M4 "blackout finder" (If the silver coating is still good).

The cameras and stand in the photo are for demo purpose, not included in the sale.  This sale is for servicing of your camera.  The shipping cost is the cost to mail you back your camera after service.
