We continue to reduce our extensive collections, with this 1958 worlds fair item being purchased from an Orpington Collectors fair in the early 1990s, together with other items from the exhibition.



A simple piece of design with the ashtray featuring 9 costs of arms - presumably cities and countries that featured at the exhibition.

The ash tray appears to be made from melamine - which was very popular at the time. As with the other melamine items from this exhibition the base is marked COGEBI etc - see photograph.

The item appears to be in very good condition with no obvious damage. There is a mark on the rear which may clean - see photographs which form part of description.

The tray measures just over 5 inches across and 1/2 inch (height) - approx.
