customers asked me to give them an option that doesnt require a load of digital processing, fiddling with menus and signal cables, but gave them a decent level of bass in a way they could simply connect the speakers like their past ones and play - this is it! SUHTL+X, also ideal for multi-channel amplifiers 5.1 7.1 etc that cannot individually tone control each channel
'+X' - these are just simple boxes containing a few simple coils and components, to create a low-pass filter, and so you get a decent balance between bass and mid/treble by losing some mid/treble efficiency and powering up your amp volume (as all conventional speakers always do anyway)

These are probably nothing like loudspeakers you ever heard, or understood-the-principles-of before, so please take five minutes to read about them below, and I promise to explain why reference loudspeakers should all be built this way, and you'll realise these are still unique!
These are the world's ONLY loudspeakers that emit full-range sound from virtually one drive unit. All other loudspeakers in the world, either have the sound coming from seperated places, direct the sound omnidirectionally, or dont do low bass etc at all.
This is no ordinary hollow box made of wood-based materials, What's not obvious is..
Each enclosure is in fact a patented invention, based not upon a resonating box like all others, but on A.R. Baileys 'non-resonating enclosure' (Original and Pure)Half-wave Transmission Line ('HTL' in SUHTL)desgn from the 1960s (enabling the rear wave of the drive unit to be perfectly absorbed without resonation above a certain point, by using a long stuffed pipe), and Viv Capels Kapellmeister folded reflecting version(35hz=8foot Line) to be contained within domestic floorstander size. The advancement, is that instead of wood-based materials used by the former, and everyone else in the industry, the U in SUHTL stands for Ultra-low-resonance - attained by total interior use of a new wave-guiding, sound-insulating board.

Why go to all this trouble? why make the interior so complex and expensive to make, if you can't see it, and why ressurect an old design from the 60's made for a single drive unit, when it is not expensive to make a speaker with woofer/tweeter etc?
Answer - because it will make the sound virtually perfect!
by eliminating the resonation in the enclosure, there is no noise from the enclosure which would bounce off your room walls and blur everything. By eliminating seperated drive units, you get rid of virtually all interference from the different units cancelling and exaggerating frequencies.
All sound, will come virtually from one discernable position or source, without interference, blurring or boominess. This is unique in the world and has to be heard to be believed (or see the show surveys handwritten by experts on the product website).
Just like real singers and instruments; the sound comes from ONE place, ONCE. You have to have a single drive unit to do this, and en enclosure with exceptional full-range absorbtion. The only full-range absorbing design is the A.R. Bailey Transmission Line. The only working practical enclosure of this type is the Resolution SUHTL.
Do you want to close you eyes and believe the singers are in your room?
-the plosives ("b" and "p" sounds) come WITHOUT INTERFERENCE OR BLUR from just one position ONCE, and the sibilance ("s" and "t" sounds) are not attenuated !
Do you want to hear bass guitars 'tight', detailed and eliminate 'room-boom'?
- you can put these speakers tidy against a wall and it makes no difference, because they are relatively inert to your room-acoustics. They are the most uni-directional full-range speakers in the world, because the vertical-elliptical driver will not spill bass anything like any reflex port or circular cone will. The Ultra-low resonance of the enclosure means virtually no back or side sound, unlike most speakers that lose roughly 30% from the rear and reflected within the room.
So in summary, you can ;
A. plug these in through the crossover (+X) to any amp. Ideal for systems without tone controls or ability to connect one. e.g. AV Home Cinema.
These speakers have been supplied like this for years, and will last a lifetime. I upgrade my customers externals, when I find a new breakthrough like i did with DRCEQ, since the speakers themselves are already the ultimate and unlikley ever improved.
You cant please everyone, all the time. These may be the 'WorldsBestLoudspeakers(.com)", but they will be appreciated best by fine recordings listened to by fine people.
The rest of the industry can have their 'fame', it's a product of their bribes and monopolies anyway.
