Loris Kessel Racing und Ferrari war zwischen 2000 und 2008 eine erfolgreiche Kombination im internationalen GT-Sport doch der Schweizer Luxus-Auto-Händler Loris Kessel hatte auch eine kurze, wenig bekannte Formel 1 Karriere. Im Brabham des RAM-Teams reichte es 1976 bei fünf Einsätzen allerdings nur zu einer gewerteten Zielankunft beim Großen Preis von Belgien in Zolder bevor sich Team und Fahrer im Streit trennten.

 Loris Kessel Racing and Ferrari enjoyed a good reputation in international GT racing between 2000 and 2008. But it is not widely known that the Swiss luxury car dealer had a short Formula 1 career as well. Five entries in RAM Racing's Brabham in 1976 resulted in a single classified finish at the Belgian Grand Prix at Zolder. As often happens the lack of success caused trouble between team and driver and they went apart after the Austrian GP.
