Chaika (Uglitsch Watch Factory)
December of 1937, the Council of People's Commissars decided to build a factory for producing TTK-2 watch jewels and technical stones in the town of Uglich.

1950, the factory began producing "Zvezda" timepieces, firstly using imported equipment, and later using our's own. It took a major effort of the factory's engineering and technical staff.

1963, after our compatriot Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in Space, the factory was re-named as "Chaika"

 

These watch were made in the empire, which already does not exist.
