Most stock flywheels are heavy cast iron and are designed for optimum drivability by storing some of the engine’s power in the form of inertia. Light flywheels provide significantly improved engine response and acceleration by compromising drivability. Competition's lightweight flywheels are designed for improving engine response, strength and affordability.

This flywheel is recommended for naturally aspirated and/or street driven applications. This flywheel will work with all performance and stock clutch assemblies.

The ACT 600105 for Honda/Acura B-Series Engines is an 8.7-pound Prolite flywheel, which is considerably lighter than stock and is the most durable flywheel offering from ACT. ACT Prolite flywheels are designed for optimal throttle response and acceleration. ACT Prolite flywheels are preferred for road racing or rally racing, and have reduced drivability.
