This exquisite pattern is "inspired by the Ancient Chinese paintings of exotic birds, pagodas and flora of the Ching Dynasty of Chia Ching 1796-1820".
The idyllic scene is perfectly balanced with distant pagodas and foreground exotic birds perfectly framed within bright blossom branches.
The vibrant Oriental-inspired pattern appears atop a crisp white fine porcelain ground which magnificently accentuates the richness of the pattern.
The original lid features a bright blossom branch to the top, perfectly unifying the design. An elegant border with gilt gold highlights trims the lower edge of the lid.
SIZE: This impressive piece stands approx 175mms tall and measures 130mms in diameter at its widest.
CONDITION: This exquisite piece is presented in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The pattern remains wonderfully rich and vibrant and the fine china body is clean and stain free. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
MARKS: This piece is beautifully marked to the base with a Crown Staffordshire England Fine Bone China Pagoda mark.
