FAQs:
Q1. Do I need a kit for the Front?
A1. No. The front suspension utilizes torsion bars that may require re-indexing and winding up to match the raised height of the rear.
Q2. How much will 20mm spacers lift my car by?
A2. Approx 40mm or 1.5inches
Q3. Can you supply other sizes?
A2. Not at this moment. However, the best combination i found was to use 20mm spacer + raised king heavy duty springs (KMRR-91) or (KMRR-91SP if you have spare wheel carrier) and 2-3mm washer between the shock absorber and lower trailing arm. This will achieve Approx 3" - 3.5" inches of total lift. Any more and you will not be able to set camber correctly and spring starts to hit upper trailing arm while fully extended.
Q4. What other parts do I need to make this kit complete?
A4. You will need to press out existing studs at the top of the strut cup and replace with 8mm x 45mm high tensile bolts and nuts (supplied) inserted upwards as per pic. Original strut covers will fit over the new nuts.
Q5. Do i need to remove the spring in order to fit the spacers?
A5. Yes. The spring will need to come out in order to replace studs with longer bolts.
Q6. Do i need new/longer shocks in front or rear to use with this kit?
A6. No.
Q7. Do you offer fitting?
A7. Yes I do offer fitting if you are local to Brisbane. The labor cost is $250 and I will need your car for the whole day. I also strongly recommend replacing torsion bar pads (approx $85) as 90% of the times I find them cracked during re-indexing.
