Large Antique Victorian Style Leather & Mahogany Stool / Coffee Table

This large antique Victorian style deep buttoned leather stool lends itself to being used as a coffee table too. We have been making these regularly for the last 10 years, normally in this size, but also in other sizes & colours to order. They are completely hand made & very high quality, so they do take about 4 weeks to produce. The solid mahogany legs have to be turned & the frame put together. Then the brass cupped casters are antiqued & added on. Then the frame & legs are French polished. Once that is completed, we send it of to be upholstered in a neutral hide which is deep buttoned & hand tacked onto the frame. After that it goes to another destination where the leather is hand coloured & antiqued. So you see, it’s quite a lengthy process & there are no short cuts if you want a great look & quality. Most leather upholstered furniture in the stores & general market place are devoid of character, because the leather is pre-dyed & the wood is spray polished. This stool is one of two we just got in & one is sold now, but this one is still available. However – We can take orders for any sizes or colours.

Payment

We can accept payment via personal cheque, banker's draft (pounds sterling only), credit and debit cards, or Pay Pal. We also accept cash on collection.

Returns

Please note, if you are not happy with any product, we will take it back within 14 days, providing it is in the same condition as when it left our shop. However, you will be responsible for the cost of transport both ways. Obviously, if there is a genuine fault with the product that we haven't mentioned, we will cover the cost of transport, but please be sensible because our products are old so they are bound to have some signs of wear. Should anything be damaged in transport, it will be repaired for you for free. You will need to notify us of any problems straight away. Remember, good communication is important.

Domestic & Overseas Shipping Arranged

Please contact us for a delivery quote before bidding. As a rough guide, most of the furniture items we sell can be sent to the majority of places in England for around £50-£80, but there can be exceptions for more out of the way places, or extremely large pieces, so please always ask. Wales & Scotland may be a bit more. We only ship at cost price, and do our best to get a good deal for our customers.

For overseas shipping most companies charge extra for insurance, between 1.5% & 2.5% of the invoice value. For all deliveries, we will require a full postcode and a telephone number. On most shipments, we ask that you pay the courier or shippers direct - that way you know we only ship at cost. Also, we ask that you communicate directly with each other once the goods have left our premises. Obviously, we will help and advise where we can.
