The HEL Performance oil cooler engine take of plate range, is designed to allow you to run an external oil cooler where the usual aftermarket oil cooler sandwich plates cannot be used.
The BMW N54/55 engine uses a bespoke water to oil cooler, bolted to the side of the oil filter housing.
Our HEL Performance take off plate bolts in place of the standard OEM water to oil cooler, and provides the option to use either -8an or -10an fittings by way of M18x1.5 female threads. These enable an external oil to air cooler to be installed.
This Oil Control Take Off Plate is available as part of a HEL Performance Cooler Kit, or here on its own allowing you to build your own specific cooler kit.
