The SR80x headphones from Grado are based on the multi award-winning SR80e and added a new X driver design, a polymer to damp resonant distortion in the plastic housing, and a new cable.

The first pair of SR-80's was built in 1991 with a great soundstage, world renowned mid-range, and speed, the SR80x is worthy of being the longest running Grado headphones.

The driver and housing of these headphones work together to react to sound vibrations and virtually eliminate any transient distortions. The full bodied vocals and excellent dynamics with these headphones compliments the musical characteristics that are brought to life with the clarity and wide range of the SR80x.

These headphones use the 4th Generation Grado drivers that have been specifically tuned for the SR80x, which features a more powerful magnetic circuit, a voice coil with decreased effective mass, and a reconfigured diaphragm. The Re-engineering of the components for the 44mm drivers improves efficiency, reduces distortion, and preserves the harmonic integrity in the recordings.

The cables and headband have also been redesigned for the SR80x. Now housed in a more durable exterior, the 4-conductor cable uses a super annealed copper wire to ensure the purity of the audio signal. The new headband also features more cushion for a comfortable listening experience.

Each pair of SR80x's are hand-built by the Grado team in Brooklyn, USA. Grado started life creating wonderful products from a kitchen table in 1953, and every experience since leads to the creation of the SR80x.

We ship all our orders from depot in the heart of Birmingham.
We provide FREE next day delivery on all of our UK orders, so long as you complete your order before 2pm (Monday - Thursday, Excluding Bank holidays).  Orders placed on a Friday morning will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.

  • For our UK orders we use DPD Couriers (Next Day Delivery) who provide a personal tracking numbers with a one-hour delivery slot on the day of delivery. For smaller UK orders we use Royal Mail (1st Class).
  • For our international orders we employ eBays Global Shipping Programme (GSP). Which is highly recommended for its costs and efficiency. All the international orders are sent to a GSP depot here in the UK, before onward international shipping. You will get emails updating you on the progress of your order throughout the delivery process

We do not allow local pick-up for eBay orders, but if this is necessary please contact us prior to making your purchase and we can make arrangements for you.

For combined shipping you will need to add the items to your basket before paying for them, and then we will send them out together. For international orders eBay GSP calculates the shipping cost, which normally charges extra for additional items based on weight.

We endeavour to ensure that 100% of our customers are completely satisfied and receive an excellent shopping experience; if for whatever reason you have any issues, please do not hesitate to contact us before opening any case(s).

  • We will always aim to do the best to resolve any issues
  • We will only pay the return delivery costs if the item was delivered wrong or it is faulty out of the box.
  • Any valid purchase made from us that carries a warranty, is ONLY valid in the UK. Therefore, if you have any problem that is covered by your warranty, you will have to return the item to us in the UK, at your cost.

For Returns:

  • The returns process must be started within 30 days of your initial order.
  • We ask all items that are returned to us be wrapped in outer material (brown paper, plastic, clear wrap, black wrap or anything similar) complete with their original packaging.
  • Any items that are damaged or have parts and accessories missing will be subject to a re-stocking fee or in some cases even rejected.
  • Please ensure you contact us before returning the item to obtain a returns reference.
  • You must also ensure you include your name, eBay ID, and the reason for the return; it will speed up the refund process.
  • All of the refunds are processed with the same payment method as the original purchase.
