The VIBE OPTISOUND Speaker upgrade offers everything you need to upgrade the speakers in your FORD! Nothing is left out with this kit with all the components required to give an easy and direct fitment to your car.
The kit includes the correct speaker adaptor rings and cables which allows the speaker to be fitted directed into the factory location just like the original speaker without any cutting of cables In order to ensure that the you can get the most out of the speaker we have included a range of Sound Enhancement accessories, these accessories are all designed to work in harmony with the OPTI6C speaker which is supplied with your FORD kit.
These accessories include: Anti Vibe Sound Deadening - This material is designed to reduce vibrations in the thin metal panels that sit behind the speaker when the bass reverberates from the speaker Adjustable silicone speaker baffle - This silicone baffle sits between the plastic speaker ring and the metal basket of the speaker itself; this has 3 great benefits. The benefits include creating an airtight seal between basket and adaptor, the rear has an extendable flange which give water protection to the back of the speaker and the front also has an extendable cone which guides the sound out of the speaker in the correct direction. Wave diffuser - The wave diffuser is an open cell foam in a convoluted construction, this diffuser is designed to absorb unwanted sound waves that come backwards from the speaker as opposed to forwards, this gives the audio a much cleaner sound overall.

Q - Why upgrade my speakers?

Q - What is sound deadening?
A - Sound deadening is a dense Butyl material with a foil layer that is designed to add mass to a flexible panel to reduces the amount of resonance that is generated when a speaker plays near it. A simple analogy is with a can of drink, if you tap this when its full you have a dull thud, do the same when half full you get a louder ting and when you have an empty can it has a loud ping, by adding the deadening your car becomes the dull thud as opposed to the loud ping when the speaker is playing.
Q - Will I have to chop or cut anything in the car?
A - NO! the kit is supplied with all the correct parts to ensure that you have a complete no destructive installation of the speaker upgrade.
