RAPID EYEWEAR 'VOGUE NIGHT' OVERGLASSES FOR DRIVING AT NIGHT

'Vogue Night' is a new style of night driving glasses that fit over your spectacles from Rapid Eyewear, one of the UK's longest established and most respected manufacturers of quality specialised sunglasses. Vogue Night build on the popularity of our ever-popular 'Night Corrector' glasses, but introduce an improved frame that fits over wider glasses up to 140mm, and a half-rim design that looks far better when you are wearing them.

The Frames

Manufactured from a tough TR90 composite, the half-rim frame is lightweight yet incredibly robust with a hard-wearing, hand sprayed matt black finish. It has the advantage of looking far less 'clunky' than many similar products, whilst being large enough to fit over spectacles up to 5.63 in. wide.

The Lenses

Rapid Eyewear's impact resistant lenses are made from polycarbonate; they are anti-scratch coated, and decentred to ensure optical precision. An anti-reflective coating greatly reduces the glare caused by the headlamps of oncoming vehicles, and street lamps etc. Please note that polarized lenses ARE NOT effective against glare at night; this is because they are designed to reduce sun glare by flitering light that bounces off horizontal surfaces. Polarized lenses do not work with the diffused light emmited by car headlamps etc.

Conformity and Compliance

Vogue Night comply with all aspects of ISO 12311 and 12312 standards for glasses and sunglasses. They also comply with US Z80.3 standards. Despite being predominately for night use, they have full UV400 protection.
