Size: The printed area on each side of the sheet measures approximately 85mm x 160mm with margins beyond, and is uncoloured as published. Suitable for mounting and framing.

Description: An original antique, copper-engraved map by Capt. Daniel Paterson, published in 1785 by Carrington Bowles  in ‘Paterson’s BRITISH ITINERARY being a new and accurate Delineation and Description of the Direct and Principal Cross Roads of Great Britain’.

The sheet is printed on both sides, each with two numbered strips showing the route with settlements and topographical features. Some notable places on the routes are as follows:

Side 1 (strips 129 & 130) - Llandovery, Llanbedr

Side 2 (strips 131 & 132) - Cardigan, Gloucester

Cartographer / Engraver: Daniel Paterson.
