Description: A very finely steel-engraved map of the Pacific Ocean in the early 19th century. It has good detail of place names and topography.

Provenance: 'Maps of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge', Vol II, London, Chapman and Hall, 1844

Condition: Good condition. Light age toning and one or two very faint age/handling marks (darker areas at the right side of the sheet) Some age spots along the top margin outside the printed area. Some minor creasing. Please study all the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
