This is an original 1953 Westlake, Los Angeles, California Sanborn atlas map with updates to 1957. It is double sided with Plats 60 and 61 and includes Hotel Mayfair, Citizenship Adult School, Church of the Immaculate Conception, Leonilda Apartments, St. Cathryn Apartments and other historic buildings, parks and structures.

Plat 60 covers from: W. 7th Street to W. 9th Street and from Green Avenue to Hartford Avenue. 

Plat 61 covers from: W. 7th Street to W. 9th Street.   

Each color represents a different type of building.  Pink is Brick; Yellow is Wood and Brown is Stone.  Square box with an X = Garage, Stable or Shed.  See key for what all the symbols indicate.
