POSISTOR for Circuit Protection and for Overheat Sensing Lead Type. PTFM are PTC Thermistors used for overheat sensing in FETs, power ICs, and other heat generating areas. They provide a highly reliable method for protecting power transistors, stereo main amplifiers, etc. from overheating, and also for sensing the temperature of other components which may be overheated.
