Please be advised that due to the most recent firmware update in April 2021, the generic/compatible cartridges may not be recognised by the printer in the first installation, however, user may try to remove and re-install the cartridge again and the printer should recognise the cartridge.



Please note that do NOT update the firmware as it will trigger the printer's latest update to block these compatible/generic cartridges. The Epson printer should not update automatically, but users are encouraged not to update to the latest firmware manually to avoid this issue.

If the automatic upgrade has occured, you may be able to downgrade the firmware manually and you may contact us should you have any questions on how to downgrade the firmware.
