*~ANTIQUE LACE HAND MADE EMBELLISHED VICTORIAN STYLE EMBELLISHED WRIST CUFF - A TURTLE BAY TRADING POST DESIGN~*

This delightful wrist cuff is intended to be worn with or without an over sleeve as part of a fancy dress costume - and is embellished with various findings and embroidery. There is an old doily, printed bird fabric, silk ribbonry and antique buttons. Antique laces adorn the upper and lower hemline. Pink, high quality lingerie stretch lace panels are sewn on the inside so you can slip this one on and off very easily and it adjusts to fit. There are a few age spots on the upper lace flounce which was original to this lace that I salvaged... It isn't detracting, but I thought I had better mention it. I'm really happy with how this cuff turned out. As for size, I have fairly average sized arms and I can wear this comfortably. Upper band inside the flounce measures 4 inches stretching to 4 1/2 and lower band, inside flounce is 3 1/2 inches stretching to 4 inches. Cuff is lined with a fine, white pique fabric. It's made very well even though it's rather frivolous in nature - and will last for many moons. 🖤

Welcome to the Turtle Bay Trading Post! Here you will find an assortment of handmade artisan jewelry (usually incorporating vintage and antique buttons!) actual vintage and antique jewelry and vintage clothing and accessories from the 1890s to the 1980s. I've taken a long break from selling on eBay due to health issues and also pursuing other work, but now I'm back! Bear with me as I relearn everything from the bottom up - things change so often in this forum it can make your head spin! Wish our "bosses" knew change doesn't always equal improvement! Well, we can live in hope. ❤️ Oh, and I want to mention those hideously tacky advertisement campaigns that our listing pages are plastered with. Does anyone out there actually believe that this could be effective in any way? It's distracting, and looks horrible. It detracts from the value of our work. There. I've said it.
