THE BEAUTY OF THIS HEIGHT POLE IS, USER FRIENDLY!  NO TOOLS NECESSARY!  For example. I run my pole at, say, 16'2". I'm running the same for a week, every night, I can leave my added safety clamps where they are, and take my pole and put it in the bag safely in my pickup, and tomorrow morning, I can set it back up to exactly where I had it the day before! I run the tip the full length, because, I want to hit all overhead obstructions, with that,(NOT MY POLE) . This is NON CONDUCTIVE and FLEXIBLE ON THE TIP. No tools needed to tighten these. These are EXTRA added security to the black locking levers already on the pole, helps to keep the pole from slipping.
