Product Description

   This is a great set of easy-reassembling LCD controller kit which is used to turn a bare laptop LCD panel into a desktop/PC monitor. It will be a surprise that your bare LCD will be of good use, and no longer be a waste. Making your great project with your sparkle idea and giving your lcd a new life.

        The power adapter for this kit is not the same as that for the normal kit, it requires a power adapter output both 24V and 12V, so please feel free to contact us for suggestion before placing order if you don't have idea for it yet.   You can think about making good use of the original power adapter too.  

    Successful example from German friend hase123456 who makes good use of the original power adapter. 

     This kit is for Lcd LM240WU2, but please select the right model when placing the order. It is to avoid the possible difference. If your lcd is a different one, please remember to contact us  (click here ) with lcd model number for suggestion. 

     Necessary Accessories for turning this bare LCD to desktop monitor:

   2. Backlight cable

   3. LVDS cable

   4. Keypad

   5. VGA cable/DVI Cable/HDMI cable (not included)

   6. Power Adapter (not included)

   If you have already had a VGA cable/DVI cable/HDMI cable and a power adapter ( Output 24V & 12V which also support 24"), this kit is a great choice for you, if you want to buy VGA cable/DVI cable/HDMI cable/power adapter, please feel free to let us know.

 

   Notes:

   1. Please make sure that your LCD is in good condition before bidding this item, else you will be responsible for the incompatibility. 

   2. If you are not specialized in electronics or have doubts in operation, please contact us for instruction, as we are not able to responsible for wrong operation.

  Instruction to connect the controller board to the LCD:

  No metal contact is allowed.

1. Take away the old backlight cable and old LVDS cable from the LCD panel.

2. Connect the new backlight cable and new LVDS cable to your LCD panel.( Please don't connect the lvds cable wrongly, some wrong connection can get your lcd burnt, if you are not sure, please feel free to contact us.)

3. Connect controller board kit to the PC with VGA cable/DVI cable/HDMI cable.

4. * Learn how to input the 12V and 24V power to lcd controller board and lcd. Please contact us for further instruction before ordering.
