Application tips for a long-lasting bond:
1. Prepare the surface thoroughly, we recommended an alcohol based cleaning product to prepare the surface and allow it to fully dry, do not apply in direct sunlight or extremely cold conditions. Recommended temperate between 10c - 25c and low humidity.
2. Press the pads very firmly for at least 10 seconds to achieve a good initial bond on your surface, then leave the adhesive to cure for at least 6 hours before attaching any object or weight.
A full bond is achieved after 24 hours.
3. Remove the film/paper liner and stick as required, again with a firm pressure press, do not attempt to remove and re-apply as you may weaken the adhesive and this will reduce the long term effectiveness.
Please note, acrylic adhesive is low-tack so to the touch initially may not appear as sticky as you were expecting.
Acrylic adhesive is a pressure-sensitive bonding material which increases bond over 24 hours once it has been applied to an appropriate surface. Acrylic tape cannot be compared to regular high-street sticky tape.
