You are bidding on an original 1960 Topps Card, #217 autographed by Charley Grimm.

This card was part of a 2500+ Autographed Card Collection owned by Loring Morrison of Maine. Loring collected these autographs over a 30 year period. He died in 2002 and his entire collection was auctioned by Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas, Texas in May 2006. I was fortunate enough to win a good portion of that collection (500+) and I am now offering all of them for sale over the next few months.

 

Charley was the Manager of the Chicago Cubs on this card.

Charley was born August 28, 1898 and died November 15, 1983, (ref. Wikipedia)

This card was part of an Auction lot sold by Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas, Texas in May of 2006.

The entire lot was Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA and you will get a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) dated May 6, 2006.
