Improved quality is ensured as Oyaide uses only the best materials for the SS-47 audio grade solder. When compared to conventional solders that usually containing 99.9% 3N pure tin, the SS-47 contains 99.993% 4N pure tin, due to Oyaide meticulously excluding impurities from the material.

Plus, 4.7% silver and 1.7% copper are included to significantly improve the electric conductivity and sturdiness. The compounds ratio sets the eutectic point to 217? which means the soldering process can be finished in seconds with a 40W soldering iron.

As a result of flux consideration, the solder restricts surface corrosion and residual chlorine to less than 0.12%. Plus, the flux of SS-47 has an 83% fast-spreading ratio. The ultimate solder for extracting the best performance from components and creating stress-free work.

We ship all our orders from depot in the heart of Birmingham.
We provide FREE next day delivery on all of our UK orders, so long as you complete your order before 2pm (Monday - Thursday, Excluding Bank holidays).  Orders placed on a Friday morning will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.

  • For our UK orders we use DPD Couriers (Next Day Delivery) who provide a personal tracking numbers with a one-hour delivery slot on the day of delivery. For smaller UK orders we use Royal Mail (1st Class).
  • For our international orders we employ eBays Global Shipping Programme (GSP). Which is highly recommended for its costs and efficiency. All the international orders are sent to a GSP depot here in the UK, before onward international shipping. You will get emails updating you on the progress of your order throughout the delivery process

We do not allow local pick-up for eBay orders, but if this is necessary please contact us prior to making your purchase and we can make arrangements for you.

For combined shipping you will need to add the items to your basket before paying for them, and then we will send them out together. For international orders eBay GSP calculates the shipping cost, which normally charges extra for additional items based on weight.

For Returns:

  • We ask all items that are returned to us be wrapped in outer material (brown paper, plastic, clear wrap, black wrap or anything similar) complete with their original packaging.
  • Any items that are damaged or have parts and accessories missing will be subject to a re-stocking fee or in some cases even rejected.
  • Please ensure you contact us before returning the item to obtain a returns reference.
  • You must also ensure you include your name, eBay ID, and the reason for the return; it will speed up the refund process.
  • All of the refunds are processed with the same payment method as the original purchase.
