The new Diamond 12.0 from Wharfedale are true all-rounder Bookshelf speakers that epitomizes the legacy of the Diamond series. These are ‘affordable’ speakers in a compact cabinet with great power and detail. These speakers are ideal for 2-channel small Hi-Fi systems, however, they are also suitable as satellite speakers in a home Theatre set-up.

These speakers are fitted with high-performance 100mm Klarity drivers to ensure you get a powerful bass response that exceeds its compact size, whilst the 1" woven polyester dome tweeter ensures the high frequency components are delivered smooth and open.

The new Klarity cone material is a Polypropylene and mica blend for the rigidity to prevent possible flexing, which supports a lightweight cone with high rigidity, reduced colouration and ultra-fast response. The Klarity cone has a low-damping surround to ensure low colouration and impressive dynamics. The frequency response curve is relatively flat, which has been achieved through extensive R&D.

The epoxy/glass fibre bobbin wound voice coil is quite rare in speakers in this price range. The advantage of the voice coil design is that is does not add eddy currents but delivers greater power handling than an aluminium bobbin whilst also being more rigid than a Kapton type.

The crossover network utilises an acoustic LKR 24dB topology employing air-core inductors that you would normally only find in high-end speakers which create the least distortion of all inductor types. Since as, the resistance of the coil is higher than a standard laminated steel or ferrite core inductor, the magnet of mid-range bass driver has been modified to compensate and to ensure a clean and undistorted bass.

The rear-port is accurately sizes so the internal volume of the cabinet compliments the drive units for the intended audio output. The multi-layered sandwich design of the cabinet gives it its distinct characteristics of the cabinet’s ‘sound’. 

The internal bracing in the cabinet is Intelligent Spot Bracing which connects the opposing walls within a specific form of the wood brace for excellent cabinet resonance reduction. The bracing has been computer modelled to enhance the typical ‘figure of eight’ brace, which may transfer resonance from one wall to the other.

We ship all our orders from depot in the heart of Birmingham.
We provide FREE next day delivery on all of our UK orders, so long as you complete your order before 2pm (Monday - Thursday, Excluding Bank holidays).  Orders placed on a Friday morning will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.

  • For our UK orders we use DPD Couriers (Next Day Delivery) who provide a personal tracking numbers with a one-hour delivery slot on the day of delivery. For smaller UK orders we use Royal Mail (1st Class).
  • For our international orders we employ eBays Global Shipping Programme (GSP). Which is highly recommended for its costs and efficiency. All the international orders are sent to a GSP depot here in the UK, before onward international shipping. You will get emails updating you on the progress of your order throughout the delivery process

We do not allow local pick-up for eBay orders, but if this is necessary please contact us prior to making your purchase and we can make arrangements for you.

For combined shipping you will need to add the items to your basket before paying for them, and then we will send them out together. For international orders eBay GSP calculates the shipping cost, which normally charges extra for additional items based on weight.

  • We will only pay the return delivery costs if the item was delivered wrong or it is faulty out of the box.
  • Any valid purchase made from us that carries a warranty, is ONLY valid in the UK. Therefore, if you have any problem that is covered by your warranty, you will have to return the item to us in the UK, at your cost.

For Returns:

  • The returns process must be started within 30 days of your initial order.
  • We ask all items that are returned to us be wrapped in outer material (brown paper, plastic, clear wrap, black wrap or anything similar) complete with their original packaging.
  • Any items that are damaged or have parts and accessories missing will be subject to a re-stocking fee or in some cases even rejected.
  • Please ensure you contact us before returning the item to obtain a returns reference.
  • You must also ensure you include your name, eBay ID, and the reason for the return; it will speed up the refund process.
  • All of the refunds are processed with the same payment method as the original purchase.
