IN MY LISTINGS "ELECTROPLATED" MEANS PLASTIC BUTTONS COATED WITH A THIN LAYER OF GOLD TONE SILVER TONE BRASS TONE OR OTHER METAL TONE FINISH. EVEN THOUGH THEY LOOK METAL, ELECTROPLATED BUTTONS ARE PLASTIC AND MUCH LIGHTER IN WEIGHT WHEN COMPARED WITH THE SAME SIZE SOLID METAL BUTTONS.
