The Thermal Sensor can be placed into the thermostat housing, engine block, or directly into the radiator. If you would like to install this sensor in the top radiator hose, It can also be used with Temperature Sensor Adaptor Kit 0409 - 0409 not included, available separately
The switch can run 1 or 2 fans and be used for 12 or 24 volt applications. It has an adjustable temperature range of 104ºF to 230º Fahrenheit or 40º to 110º Celsius and can display Centigrade or Fahrenheit.
Fan #1 will start once the temperature reaches the set temperature.
Fan #2 (if applicable) will start operation 10 seconds after fan #1 starts.
The fan/s will operate until the temperature falls by 5° Celsius below the set temperature.

The Davies Craig Digital Electric Fan Controller Kit 0445 is designed to turn on fans by sensing air temperature as it passes through the radiator with the sensor placed in the radiator fins, so there is no need to cut hoses. It has an adjustable temperature range of 104 to 230º Fahrenheit / 40 to 110º Celsius and can display Centigrade or Fahrenheit. Temperature is set by pressing the set button. The controller can run 1 or 2 fans. The second fan (if applicable) will start 10 seconds after the first fan starts. It can be operated thermally and can also be powered any time the air conditioning is on.
