shown in Gallery 706 of New York
City's Metropolitan Museum of
Art which the MET selected many
years ago to represent 1930's
American silver design, saying:
ornament reflect the strong
Scandinavian influence prevalent
in American silver by the early
1930s."
4.25" high x 14" diameter
1350 grams
the plain flared circular bowl
chased and embossed with stylized
flowers and leaves between a rope
twist band and a molded border
below, the depressed center of
the bowl engraved with a 'CDR'
monogram
underside base is stamped:

Bsc STERLING
124C
the BSC mark is for the Barbour
Silver Co., one of the founding
companies of International Silver
Co. in 1898 that continued to be
used into the 1930s

tazza shows no dings, dents, severe
scratches, stains or bends and is in
near excellent to excellent condition,
noting a handful of minor superficial
scratches inside the bowl are less
than commensurate to its 80+
years age
