Sempervivum tectorum calcarea grows to a medium size and has bluish green leaves with striking dark red/purple tips on the ends of its leaves. It is a very attractive Sempervivum and is ideal for rockeries or pots.

This variety grows to approximately 8 cm across and 1.5cm high.

This offer is for one lot of 10 plants.  Plants on offer are young plants similar to photos above, and are approximately 3-4cm across. Some of them are still developing their purple tips, which become more prominent as the plants mature. The plants are sent bare rooted, ie with most soil removed. They are packaged carefully and travel very well.

Note: Sempervivums grow during Spring and Summer and display their best colours during this time. They hibernate, diminish in size and change colour through the colder months.




CULTURE NOTES:
Prefers part sun/shade and well drained soil.

Protect from frost and excess moisture in Winter.

Propagated from offsets.
