Very high temperature 8AWG type TGGT wire. This wire is usually used for heating elements and other very high temperature applications. Conductor is copper with heavy nickel plating. Insulation is spiral-wrapped PTFE (Teflon) totaling 0.015in (15mil) thickness covered with braided fiberglass cloth. Stranding is 133/.0111 (19 groups of 7 strands of 0.0111). UL style is 5196 or similar. Note that there is no writing on the cable. Jacket color is natural beige/tan which is the only color most distributors stock. Overall OD is about 0.22in (measured with calipers). Ampacity depends on who you ask due to the extremely high temperature ratings, but 95-100A is often cited. Rated 600V at 250°C.
This wire is new on
spool and will be pulled from a factory spool to your specified length.
The wire will not be terminated in any connectors or terminals. There may be some superficial dirt present from storage and handling.
You will receive TEN FEET of wire per quantity purchased. This
will be a continuous hank cut to length from the spool. You will not
receive the spool or any other documentation unless otherwise agreed.
As
this is a custom cut item, there are no returns or refunds unless the
