Pro tip:
If a bridge that you plan to install is too tall, you can fix the problem quickly and easily by utilizing common neck shims. A neck shim will create the neck angle needed to install any bridge of your choice. No guitar bridge is "too tall". Just shim the neck for perfect low action then simply raise pickup height as needed to suit your playing style. If a bridge is taller than you expected,. don't return the bridge,. shim the neck for perfect action. (Neck shims are available right here on eBay), I personally recommend wooden "full contact" type neck shims, full contact neck shims can actually improve sustain in many instruments.
