Atq British Canadian Crockery King Edward LIDDED OVAL VEGETABLE BOWL Green Floral.

Antique (1905-1907) British Canadian Crockery Company | Montreal Crockery Company | Myott King Edward covered, double-handled vegetable serving bowl or tureen. Made in England, this covered bowl features art-nouveau florals and flourishes in a dark green set against an antique-white ground with abundant gold accents.

Made in England by Myott then shipped to The British Canadian Crockery Co. (which had facilities in both Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec) for decoration.

In extraordinary antique condition with just one small chip by one handle and no cracks, a tiny bit of crazing on the underside of the lid.

There are small spots of browning here and there and there is some loss and wear to the abundant gold accents and edge, most notably to those on the top of the bowl’s rim.

The art-nouveau florals and flourishes are bright and vivid with little to no fading apparent and the inside bowl is super clean. Beautiful scalloped rim on bowl and lid as well as scalloped foot.
