SCARCE item and in EXCELLENT cond!
Sand Cast aluminium box by RW Coan, London. Neatly lined with either mahogony or red cedar. Wood is in EXCELLENT cond!
Lid is an impression of Edward smoking a cigar/cigarette and underneath him is impressed "OUR PRINCE OF SPORTS"

Box measures approx 14 cms tall x 13 cms wide x 7 cms deep

This is a very collectible piece of British history, as we know the coronation of 1937 didn't ever take place, as Edward VIII abdicated in favour of his brother King George VI when it became obvious that he couldn't marry his American divorcee lover Wallis Simpson and still be King!
