1961 Masi Special Nervex

Up for sale, direct from a private collection, is a completely restored 1961 Masi Special Nervex. The frame was restored to period correct style in both paint and chrome based on existing conserved original paint Nervex Specials viewed in other private collections. No detail was overlooked. Dimensions are 55cm seat tube center-top, 53cm seat tube center-center, 53cm top tube center-center and 62cm down tube center-center. This restored Masi Special Nervex is fully period correct throughout for 1961.

The serial number sampled on the bottom bracket is H55 along with the MASI stamp. The head badge is original to the bike from 1961 and not a reproduction. There is also the Nervex number 61°649022°539 stamped on the bottom bracket. The contour and position of the seat stays along with style of the seat stay lug are consistent with other early 60's Masi Special Nervex. As well as, the front portion of the head tube lugs and contour of the drop out attachments, all-consistent with early 60’s Masi Special Nervex. The bike has not been ridden since the restoration.
