This white 10oz. ceramic mug is decorated with a highly detailed hand drawn illustration of Paul McCartney's Hofner 500/1 Violin Bass.

This 1963 model is the one that became known as The Beatle bass.

First seen during Ready Steady Go! in October 1963, this model soon became Paul's main instrument and the one with which most people would recognise him. It was used for almost all The Beatles’ remaining live performances, television appearances and many recordings until the break up.

This illustration has been produced by George Morgan following extensive research and is not a photograph.

The image has been dye sublimated onto the mug. This means the image is under the ceramic glaze and is dishwasher, microwave and UV-proof and with normal use will not scratch, crack, fade or peel.

The durable nature of this printing process makes this mug ideal for use in the home or studio.
