A
Welsh studio pottery milk jug or cream pitcher with a very large spout which
indeed is an outstanding feature to the design concept, and multi coloured fine
trims as shown. The piece is in a bluish soft grey finish with a darker banding
to the handle.
Estimated
to be about twenty or so years old it is in good used condition. Variations to
the glaze to these hand-made studio pieces is both acceptable and part of their
charm. It is without chip, crack or restoration but there is a manufacturing
flaw (or perhaps feature to the handle depending on your beliefs) for where the
clay was twisted it has opened in the kiln, surprisingly perhaps it seems to be
completely stable after the firing.
