This is the Koala Bear sweater made popular by Princess Diana in 1983-84   This sweater was knit using the pattern from the 1980’s that was available in magazines at the time  

Very well made tightly knit sweater; has a nice weight to it  - may be cotton or blend.  I do not think it is wool.  Collar has stretched a bit in front from age but this has never been worn   Handmade and may show loose yarn threads and slight pilling  - orange on sleeves is bright.   Neon red around the bear is bright.  Blue is very bright as well -no fading!
