Telegram is from Washington DC and it reads "Glad To Advise Marine Headquarters Informs Me Orders Are Being Issued To Discharge You From The Service Glad To Be Of Service Walter F George". Curtis was a Korean War Veteran and after he left the Marines he enlisted in the Air Force and served in Vietnam. Telegram measures 5 3/4" by 8". There are creases and minor tears.
