100 x Lunaria Mixed 'Honesty' Seeds


A popular cottage garden bi-annual producing fine displays of mauve & white flowers, born in clusters with a delicate fragrance.   Reaching approx 90 cm tall and extremely popular with butterflies.   The attractive silvery, translucent seed heads are loved by florists and commonly known as the ‘Money Plant’.


Blooms from March to April from a sowing the previous year as a bi-annual.  Will readily self-seed if left to mature.


Can be sown in trays or directly outside in drills.

Sow thinly outdoor in late spring/early summer in drills 3 mm deep, 30 cm apart.

Soil must be kept damp during germination period.

Thin and transplant seedling to at least 15 cm apart when large enough to handle.

In autumn transplant to their final growing position for the following spring.

For dried flowers cut the stems bearing seed pods the following autumn and hang in bunches in a cool airy room to dry.
