PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Adapter cable ISO -> ISO with switch for campers

Background: If, in contrast to most passenger cars, only 2 key positions exist (ignition, start), the radio cannot be switched on separately. This means that either all loads are off or all are on.

The adapter cable is designed so that only the radio without ignition is switched on with the switch. No additional loads are activated and thus the battery life in stationary operation is considerably extended. The adapter is inserted between the ISO connections of the vehicle and the radio. Install the supplied switch in a suitable place on the dashboard.

If the adapter is switched off, the radio functions as usual via the ignition.

Tip:
If your radio does not store the transmitter or the settings after switching off the ignition, you can turn the ignition and continuous voltage.
For this purpose, plug in terminal 15/PIN 4 (ignition plus +12V) and terminal 30/PIN 7 (continuous plus +12V), i.e. the two plugs (YELLOW to RED / RED to YELLOW).
