Completely solid in structure and form, please expect age related wear across all this item as the images aim to illustrate, this item is a true antique and over 150 years old. For its age, this item is in overall good condition. With a deep natural patination across all its surface, with fading and frayed leather as you may expect. We feel the mirror plate is original to the frame as the reverse does not seem to have been open since it was formed. The mirror is in particularly good condition considering its age and is slightly faded to the edges sections where it meets the frame. The bottom section has aged repairs but done professionally and well executed. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas in this piece, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment.
