EXCEPTIONAL EARLY EXAMPLE OF FENTON CARNIVAL GLASS

Presenting a highly desirable stag and holly spatula footed 7.5 inch marigold carnival glass bowl produced by Fenton circa 1912.

This exquisite bowl features an appealing raised pattern of stags each separated by a sprig of holly and surrounding a central flower pattern in the base.

This stunning piece has a lustrous iridescent marigold finish with a stunning fiery red colour radiating throughout the tips of the holly leaves and the heads of the stags. The magnificent colour sparkles with warm golden lustrous tones as light reflects of the stunning raised pattern.

The bowl stands on three spatula shaped feet which allows the light to penetrate from all angles. Light glistens beautifully of the pie crust scalloped rim which perfectly completes the design.

SIZE: This impressive example stands approx 85mms or 3.5 inches tall and measures 190mms or 7.5 inches in width.

CONDITION: This superb piece is presented in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The carnival finish remains beautifully lustrous with no losses or wear. There are a few air bubbles encapsulated within the glass, a standard part of the manufacturing process but mentioned for complete accuracy. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
