Please be wary of imitations of Slimport products produced in China that are of questionable quality. Many factories in China produce this adapter but they may or may not be Slimport certified. You've heard the nightmares regarding faulty cel phone accessories. Faulty accessories have been know to explode and even cause death in one confirmed case in China. There are only a handful of manufacturers that are Slimport certified and authorized by Analogix. Purchase products only from these trusted sources.
