The Ortofon 2M Black LVB 250 Replacement Stylus has been designed to deliver a detailed sound across the whole audible spectrum, it is compatible with Ortofon’s 2M series cartridges.

The 2M Black LVB 250 is fitted with a Shibata diamond tip stylus and has been designed to ensure you have highly detailed audio across the whole audible spectrum, even the highest high frequencies aer represented. The cartridge for this stylus has been released for the 250th anniversary of Ludwig Van Beethoven.

The 2M Black LVB 250 replacement styli is recommended for as a replacement for Ortofon’s top-off-the-range 2M Black LVB 250 and 2M Black cartridges, and the 2M Bronze.

This stylus is also interchangeable with other 2M series cartridges such as the 2M Red and 2M Blue, however, the full performance of the stylus will be easily apparent due to their lower grade design, but it will still be an upgrade.

This 2M Black LVB 250 Stylus is said to last up to 1000 hours playback, with the correct care, without degradation of the performance.

2M Series styli interchangeability:
The 2M Series' engines, coils and magnets configurations are not identical: Red and Blue are identical, so are the Bronze and Black and so are the true mono variants 2M Mono and 2M 78. Likewise, 2M series styli are interchangeable within the below combinations: 
  • 2M Red, 2M Blue and 2M Silver
  • 2M Bronze, 2M Black and 2M Black LVB 250
  • 2M Mono and 2M 78

We ship all our orders from depot in the heart of Birmingham.
We provide FREE next day delivery on all of our UK orders, so long as you complete your order before 2pm (Monday - Thursday, Excluding Bank holidays).  Orders placed on a Friday morning will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.

If you need an update on your order progress, please feel free to contact us directly.

  • For our UK orders we use DPD Couriers (Next Day Delivery) who provide a personal tracking numbers with a one-hour delivery slot on the day of delivery. For smaller UK orders we use Royal Mail (1st Class).
  • For our international orders we employ eBays Global Shipping Programme (GSP). Which is highly recommended for its costs and efficiency. All the international orders are sent to a GSP depot here in the UK, before onward international shipping. You will get emails updating you on the progress of your order throughout the delivery process

We do not allow local pick-up for eBay orders, but if this is necessary please contact us prior to making your purchase and we can make arrangements for you.

For combined shipping you will need to add the items to your basket before paying for them, and then we will send them out together. For international orders eBay GSP calculates the shipping cost, which normally charges extra for additional items based on weight.

We endeavour to ensure that 100% of our customers are completely satisfied and receive an excellent shopping experience; if for whatever reason you have any issues, please do not hesitate to contact us before opening any case(s).

  • We will always aim to do the best to resolve any issues
  • We will only pay the return delivery costs if the item was delivered wrong or it is faulty out of the box.
  • Any valid purchase made from us that carries a warranty, is ONLY valid in the UK. Therefore, if you have any problem that is covered by your warranty, you will have to return the item to us in the UK, at your cost.

For Returns:

  • The returns process must be started within 30 days of your initial order.
  • We ask all items that are returned to us be wrapped in outer material (brown paper, plastic, clear wrap, black wrap or anything similar) complete with their original packaging.
  • Any items that are damaged or have parts and accessories missing will be subject to a re-stocking fee or in some cases even rejected.
  • Please ensure you contact us before returning the item to obtain a returns reference.
  • You must also ensure you include your name, eBay ID, and the reason for the return; it will speed up the refund process.
  • All of the refunds are processed with the same payment method as the original purchase.
