Presenting a fabulous hand decorated Australian Pottery tourist ware wall plate created and signed by Studio Anna Australia.
This fabulous pottery dish was produced as a souvenir for tourists visiting the Victorian town of Warburton. This dish features a hand painted posy of native pink flowers atop a chocolate brown underglaze. The tourist destination is inscribed below the scene.
The cream toned pottery to the wide, inward turned rim perfectly frames the design and creates a sleek, modernist form.
SIZE: This fabulous Studio Anna dish stands 20mms tall and measures approx 90mms in diameter.
CONDITION: This exquisite Australian Pottery piece is presented in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are two absolutely minuscule pin pricks to the rim, noticeable only on extremely close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. Most people would never even spot these let alone mention them. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
MARKS: This piece is beautifully signed to the base with an inscribed signature reading "S. Anna Aust".
