Paris at 1:17,000 on a “write & wipe” waterproof and tear-resistant, indexed street plan from Michelin with a road map of the city’s environs, a plan of Disneyland, a metro diagram, plus sightseeing recommendations based on the publisher’s Green Guide.
On one side is a street plan covering the city from the edge of the Bois de Boulogne to the Père Lachaise metro station (so not the cemetery itself), and from Montmartre and Gare du Nord in the north to the grounds of Paris Expo and the National Library. Important buildings and places of interest are clearly marked and named, with 30 specially selected locations cross-referenced to their descriptions on the reverse. Metro stations are clearly marked, indicating where useful alternative entry/exits. PLEASE NOTE: this map has different cartography to Michelin’s other street plans of Paris, with less detail, no one way streets, etc. Street index, on the reverse, includes a list of points of interest.
The reverse side also includes three sections with 30 star-rated recommendations: The Essentials, Also Worth Seeing, and Our Favourites. Also provided is a road map of the capital’s environs (showing access to Versailles, CDG and Orly airports, Disneyland, etc), a plan of Disneyland, plus practical information (getting around, opening hours and public holidays, etc).
