Here is a complete Set of 28 1976 Canadian Silver Olympic coins (92.5% Silver, 7.5% Copper) in uncirculated condtion. Each Silver coin in this set celebrates the 1976 Montreal Olympics and displays a unique aspect of the games. It includes 14 $5 face value Silver coins, each containing .7227 troy ounces of silver and 14 $10 face value Silver coins containing 1.4453 troy ounces of silver for a total set weight of 30.352 troy ounces of silver.

A key highlight of these coins are the standardized designs and the unique finishes. All 28 coins are styled in a similar fashion. The top aspect of the coin has the Olympic logo, its denomination, and the wording in the same spot. The finishes consist of two different styles that had never been used on Canadian coinage until this set was released. The first finish is a satin or frosted effect which adorns the coin. The second finish is a proof finish, which consists of frosted lettering and a design set off against a brilliant mirror field. The Royal Canadian Mint had to obtain special equipment to achieve the desired finish. See photos for detailed condition of each coin.
