Description: This wonderful vintage print by the artist, HY HINTERMEISTER. The picture shows two hunting dogs, a black and white setter and a brown and white pointer, on point beside a open field They appear ready to flush out game birds and retrieve them, too. Tall grass is shown in a dark Brown and fall color. The background has the cool blue colors of the sky. Mountains and a hunters can be seen in the background. Just behind the dogs on the right you can see the hunter walking along a split rail fence in readiness for the hunt. The name HY HINTERMEISTER can be found on the lower right side of the print.
