This version now has a compass fitted. This will keep the boat running straight without the wind, weight distribution or yaw effecting the direction the boat is travelling in. The boat will require calibration at each new swim its used at, its a single button press and takes less than 15 seconds. The compass can be switched on and off on the remote.

The Boatman Actor bait boat is a compact design, light weight and very affordable boat. It only weighs 2kg and has centre and rear hoppers with a 1.5kg bait capacity. Range is 500 metres and a run time up to 2.5 hours on the standard 5ah battery doubling to 5 hours if the 10ah battery is purchased. Simple single handed rechargeable remote control which allows you to hold the rod with the free hand, you can feather the line in windy conditions or hold the rod tip under the water when very windy to stop line bow. The other benefit of the single handed remote is you can hold your rod to feel the lead down. The boat and remote will require charging prior to use. Charge time is 5 hours. We recommend that you do not use the boat when battery life indicates below 50% as the indicator situated on the front of the boat needs to be under load to be accurate.
